I am currently coaching varsity football and the head coach for the middle school baseball program. In addition, I am teaching mathematics at Cook High School. I am from Kalamazoo, MI where I graduated Western Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education with a double major in mathematics and business education. In addition to my teaching experience, I have coached & taught at Kalamazoo Central High School since 2015, and at Cook High School since 2018. Through those years I have learned about the dedication and compassion it takes to build relationships with my student athletes. From my years at Kalamazoo, I am proud that I was able to see my first group of athletes maintain over a 75% retention rate through graduation, which is more important to me than any win or loss. Through all of my experiences the most important factors to success that I have come to find would be that of faith, discipline, dedication, and determination to student growth and achievement. I hope to display these aspects of success in not just the classroom, and the football field, but as a sponsor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, an organization that is dear to me as it pairs student athletes with the love and mission of Christ. Thank you for visiting my website, and I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks again!
