CTAE Director

I come to Cook County with 35 years experience in the education field. I have been a classroom teacher, a media specialist, a program director, Alternative School Director, Graduation Specialist, Assistant Principal, and CTAE Director both school wide and system wide. I retired in 2014, but I immediatly knew that I still wanted to work, at least part time. After retiring, I worked for Southern Regional Technical College as a Librarian for one year. I was very very excited  to come to Cook County High working with teachers and students again. I love kids, and I know I was called to be in education. I am a the newly elected 2nd district Board of Education member for Colquitt County, so I am a Packer still as well as a new Hornet:)

After being at school pretty much every day in August, my normal working days will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday since I am a 49% employee. I will readily adjust my calendar as needed for any activity at school or for clubs that I need to attend.

In December 2015, I married my best friend from high school, Greg Hall. I have three wonderful children with my first husband, who is deceased since 2009: Ty, an assistant baseball coach at the University of Western Kentucky, Josi, a counselor at Pelham High School, and Tanner, a loan specialist with Georgia Ag Farm Credit. I also have two new stepsons, J.T. and Daniel. Together, Greg and I have five beautiful grandchildren under the age of three: Mallory, Jonah, Baylie Anne, Margaux June, and Mason.
