Quiz Bowl

Quiz Bowl's first meeting will be after school on Monday, September 20, from 3:00 to 4:00 pm in Mr. Wall's room (217 on the Science Hall). Anyone is welcome to attend.

Yearbook Senior Ads and Directories

9/10 - 12/1

SENIORS: Senior Ad Forms and Senior Directories have been emailed to your school email. The first deadline to submit Senior Ads will be December 1st.
The ONLY deadline to submit Senior Directories will be December 1st.
Don't procrastinate. 

Yearbook Pictures

9/10 - 9/28

  • Underclassmen photos and senior make-ups will be on Tuesday, September 28th. Underclassmen (9-11) will be called alphabetically starting in 1st block.
  • Seniors who have not had their portraits taken will be called for make-ups starting at 1:30 PM.
  • Staff may come to have a photo taken any time before 12:30 PM. 

Homecoming Dance
Information and Waiver

9/9- 9/16

The Homecoming Dance will be Saturday, September 18th from 7-11 in the CHS Cafeteria. Tickets are $10 per person at the door. If you wish to invite a guest who does not attend Cook High School, this guest must have a waiver completed and returned before purchasing the tickets at the door. The waiver includes signatures from the guest’s school and the guest must provide a picture ID for entry. The waiver forms can be downloaded from the CHS website or picked up at the front office until the end of school on Thursday, September 16.

No guest under 9th grade is permitted and no guest OVER 20 is permitted to attend this dance.

HOSA
Day at the Perry Fair

9/8-9/17

Any HOSA member interested in attending the Fall Leadership Rally at the Georgia National Fair on October 15th must pay their registration cost by no later than Sept. 17th!!  Unlimited fair rides after the rally, transportation to/from, free t-shirt, & networking with fellow GA HOSA members, cost $45.  See Mrs. Weaver or pay on myschoolbucks today!

HOSA Blood Drive

9/8 - 9/24

Join us on Sept 24th in RM 411 during your NON academic classes for our blood drive.  Your donation could save up to three lives & you will receive a free t-shirt!  Interested in signing up?  Scan the flyers around the school, get with a HOSA Officer, or come see Mrs. Weaver!

WORK-BASED LEARNING

 

Any junior or senior who wishes to earn money while earning credit at Cook High School needs to apply for the WBL program for next semester. The application can be found at the bottom of the CHS website. Click on the WBL icon or stop by Room 111 and speak with Mrs. Pitts.
