The theme for this year’s Homecoming is “Respect the Past…Fear the Future.” Class officers have selected a theme that pays tribute to Cook High School Alumni as well as paying homage to the ongoing legacy of the Cook High Hornets. The will celebrate Homecoming week by representing decades from the past in various activities. Each class has chosen a theme for their float that will be representative of the years past. The seniors have chosen to represent the 60s; the juniors will represent the 80s; the sophomores, the 70s; and the freshmen, the 50s.
We have a lot of exciting activities planned for this year’s Homecoming. Advisement teachers/classes are encouraged to participate in BANNER decorating this year (as opposed to door decorating). Each Advisement should come up with a catchy phrase or slogan for their banner and then decorate it accordingly. Each class (grade) will have a winner. The winning banners will be placed in the Gym for the Homecoming Pep Rally and carried to the football game to display on the fence, as well. Please allow ONLY advisement classes to decorate your banner. Judging criteria will be sent out at a later date.
