CTAE Non-Discrimination Notice
The Cook County School System
offers career and technical education programs at Cook High and Cook Middle
Schools. These programs are designed to prepare youth for a broad range of
employment and further education and are offered under the guidance of
certified teachers. The following is a list of programs being offered this year
and the criteria for admission:
Program Criteria for Admission Student Must
Business & Computer Science | Student | Be able to reach a computer keyboard |
Engineering | Student | Be able to reach a computer keyboard. Be able to reach, bend, and lift at least 10 pounds, work in a manufacturing environment with various allergens |
Agriculture | Student | Be able to reach, bend, and lift at least 10 pounds, work in environment with various pollens and allergens |
Early Childhood Education | Student | |
Healthcare Science | Student | Be able to reach, bend, and lift at least 10 pounds |
Wiregrass Technical College | Programs Pass admission exam |
All career and technical
education programs follow the Cook County Schools policies of nondiscrimination
