CTAE Non-Discrimination Notice

The Cook County School System offers career and technical education programs at Cook High and Cook Middle Schools. These programs are designed to prepare youth for a broad range of employment and further education and are offered under the guidance of certified teachers. The following is a list of programs being offered this year and the criteria for admission:

Program Criteria for Admission Student Must

Business & Computer ScienceStudent                               Be able to reach a computer keyboard

Engineering                                Student                               Be able to reach a computer keyboard. Be able to reach, bend, and lift at least 10 pounds, work in a manufacturing environment with various allergens

Agriculture                                  Student                               Be able to reach, bend, and lift at least 10 pounds, work in environment with various pollens and allergens

Early Childhood Education Student 
Healthcare Science  Student Be able to reach, bend, and lift at least 10 pounds
Wiregrass Technical College Programs Pass admission exam
