BIOGRAPHY
My name is Jill Swanson, and I'm ecstatic to be teaching at my alma mater, Cook High School. Born and raised in Cook County, I am a 1997 High Honor Graduate from CHS. I began my teaching career in Tift County in 2006 and have taught a variety of secondary ELA and History courses including a stint as a college adjunct. I also had the opportunity to teach 8th Grade ELA and be a Lead Teacher for four years in Middle Tennessee. This year, I will be teaching American, British, and World Literature, along with sponsoring Homecoming festivities and Student Council.
I am married to Shannon Swanson, and together we have two amazing sons, Hayden and Caleb (currently a Senior at CHS).
