I currently reside in Sparks with my husband, three children, and our various pets of all kinds. I have a BA and an MA in History with a minor in Anthropology. My specialist degree is in Curriculum and Instruction K-12, and my doctorate is in Instructional Leadership K-12. My certifications are in all Social Studies contents grades 6-12 and Educational Leadership k-12.  In addition, I hold multiple endorsements such as teaching gifted children, teaching children with English as a Second Language, and  Teacher Support and Coaching. I have taught all Social Studies courses including Government, Geography, Economics, Psychology, U.S. History, World History, AP World History, and AP U.S. History. In addition, I have  taught ESOL clusters, gifted clusters, and college courses in U.S. and World History as well. I have been teaching since 2002, and I love sharing my love of my content area with my students.
